BU Persian Student Dental Association

The Persian Student Dental Association (PSDA) is a vibrant student organization based at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. As a non-political, non-religious association, PSDA serves the Persian community of greater Boston through a comprehensive range of social, outreach, and civic engagement events designed to promote appreciation and understanding of Persian culture.

PSDA members are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment of loving-kindness where all students and community members are welcome to celebrate and explore the rich traditions of Persian heritage. The organization annually hosts a Persian New Year Celebration at GSDM, a signature event that brings together the dental school community and local Persian populations. Beyond cultural celebrations, PSDA actively engages in community service initiatives that leverage the professional expertise of dental medicine students to support underserved populations in the Boston area.

As part of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine community, PSDA members benefit from one of the nation's most respected dental education institutions. The school is nationally recognized for its community outreach programs, with students participating in more than 60 programs and 100 events annually.
